What is a "Wholesale Investor"?
This offer is available to wholesale investors only, as defined under Section 761G of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
Under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), certain investors qualify as wholesale investors and may therefore access investment opportunities that are not available to the general public. Wholesale investors are generally more experienced and have the financial resources to participate in larger-scale or specialised investments such as managed property funds.
An investor may qualify as a Wholesale Investor if they meet any one of the following criteria:- Net Assets Test – possess net assets of at least $2.5 million; or- Income Test – have a gross income of at least $250,000 per annum for each of the last two financial years; or- Investment Amount Test – invest $500,000 or more in the offer.
To confirm eligibility, investors must provide an Accountant’s Certificate issued by a qualified accountant verifying that they meet one or more of the above criteria.
